Tech Resources
If a student attended middle school in School District 197, they used an iPad. At the high school, students use laptops to access course content, complete homework, collaborate and communicate with classmates, conduct research, and more.
This does not mean that students at Two Rivers High School use a computer for the entire period of each class throughout their day. Our teachers continue to use traditional instructional methods and ask students to complete assignments or projects using tools other than computers.
All students at Two Rivers High School have two options:
- Bring Your Own Device (BYOD): Students/families bring a device to school that they currently own or have purchased. If students choose to bring their own device we recommend any Windows, Macbook or Chromebook i2 or greater with at least 8GB of RAM and 32GB Hard Drive.
- Use a School-owned Device: All new and incoming grade 9 students will be provided a Chromebook in the fall to use throughout their four years of high school. The device will be assigned specifically to the student and they will need to bring it to school (fully charged) each day.

Links for Replacement Chargers
Students are issued a charger with their device. Students are responsible for replacing the charger if it breaks or if the charger is misplaced. School District 197 is providing links to replacement chargers as a courtesy to families, not as an endorsement of services.
